two This home is a superb location just steps away from the beach and we loved that! However, it can be in serious need of updating. Every part of this house needs some TLC. Preceding reviews talked about the outdoor spigot not working - it is still not working. And so the house acquired many sand in it.
The beds were being decently comfortable (not the best but did not hinder our rest), and there was plenty of Place to stow our stuff so we did not have to look at suitcases, and so on. all week. Being right to the beach is unquestionably the selling point and our favourite aspect of this house.
The sights and beach was absolutely beautiful. The walk towards the beach is what I loved the most. The house itself isn't in good shape. It's old and very outdated. The home furnishings wasn't comfortable in the slightest degree rather than good with small kids due to very pointy edges, the mattresses need being thrown out and new types brought in. You can feel the springs when laying on them.
that island is nothing short of paradise and like 35 miles from this house. many of the beaches we secluded and very little people on them. its nowhere close to crowded. cape san blas had the most people off each of the beaches and even that was not what I call crowded". I do counsel bringing bug spray because there are some yellow fly type insects that come out while in the early morning hours and when the Solar starts to set and they do bite. it absolutely was nothing that will keep you indoors even though. there absolutely are a couple state parks inside the area and every one of them are beautiful. beautiful is definitely an understatement being honest! its a very family friendly place rather than the party scene. the people are friendly and their southern draw is too darn cute. this year was the first time I have been to this area in florida and I will make this a yearly getaway. working with pristine properties was simple and easy. they're nice And that i most likely talked to all of these before I actually made it to indian go. there is so much I could say but just pack up and go see for yourself. They say location is everything, and I'd have to concur here. The place Pre Rolls alone is in desperate need of the overhaul. Everything worked, it felt safe, and also the location was awesome, however it's just about the ragged edge of falling apart, in general. I don't mean to complain way too much, but basically the windows were all really in need of replacement, as had been the doors, the trim, much from the home furnishings, and so forth.
I loved that there have been 2 bedrooms with king size beds. That is SO great for adults who would like to travel alongside one another. But unfortunately unless some improvements are made to this home, I would not hire it yet again or propose it to a colleague.

I’m a major person and it took both of those hands to open. My spouse was scarcely ready to open it at all. A smaller or elderly person will not be capable of open the door(SAFETY ISSUE)! The other critique is a matter of comfort. There is actually a water spigot located in the bottom from the stairs leading to the beach, but it doesn’t function. It would’ve been nice to have been able to rinse feet and other objects off before going on into the deck or from the house.
We had a great time! Amethyst Dunes was the proper little house for our little family from Oklahoma. The location about the beach was well worth it!
Relished our stay and loved the beach! The house matched the description as did the pictures. We enjoyed going to the nearby communities from the “Forgotten Coast”.
